He is the founder and the Managing Director of My Straits Marine Services (M) Sdn. Bhd. He has 30 years of working experience in shipping, marine services and port operations. Holding multiple professional Degree and Certificates, such as Master of Science in Information Management (UiTM), Diploma in Port Management (Cambridge, UK), CILT (UK), Certificate of Competency F.G (Sydney, AUSTRALIA) and as well as the Port Klang Unrestricted Pilot License. He is currently the President of the Maritime Professional Malaysia (IKMAL).
Capt. Abdul Rahim Othman
Chief Operating Officer/Marine Consultant
He has an extensive experience in both the marine industry and in the oil and gas sector. He holds the Master Mariner Class 1 Unlimited Certificate. He spent his time at sea serving various classes of vessels among them tankers, bulkers and conventional vessels. His stint in oil and gas business started when he joined PETRONAS Maritime Services Sdn Bhd (PMSSB) as a Marine Executive. He was responsible to conduct inspections of tankers, offshore vessels, drill ships and MOPUs. This involved the movements of tankers loading and unloading at the jetty of Sungai Udang Port and the pilotage services including Malacca Straits pilotage for PETRONAS chartered VLCCs. He was also in the marine project team for the Kertih Port Terminal and various LNG new built terminals. He was a Mooring Master for SBM operations and Asset Manager for FPSOs and FSOs. He has with him more than 25 years’ experience in marine industry related to oil and gas.
Rosjuliana Bt Johari
Business Development Manager
She started working in the Oil & Gas industry since early 2009. Prior joining My Straits, she worked with several companies in the same industry that require her to maintain a good network with clients. With her experience in the oil and gas business and coupled with her close network in the industry, My Straits has decided to strengthen its team by appointing her to lead its Business Development.
Nur Ulya Bt Ahmad
Accounts and Administration Manager
Nor Ulya, is our Accounts and Administration Manager. She has a very cheerful personality who can work under pressure, has proven to be an asset to the company in ensuring that all our clients are happy to be our business partner. Holding a Professional Accounting Degree, she’s currently taking care of all our Clients account at the most professional level.
Adyleen Bt Azman
Marine Consultant
Adyleen, has started working in the maritime industry since 2015, after graduated from the University Malaysia of Terengganu, (UMT). She holds a B. Sc Degree of Nautical Science and Maritime Transportation Management. She has many years of experience in Marine Operational Risk Analysis and Marine Traffic Management studies. Her expertise on the Marine Risk Analysis (MRA) and managed to get all projects approved by the Marine Department of Malaysia.
